I know hat you mean; I used to do some pretty crazy $%&# too! The only time I'd wear a helmet (w/full face shield) would be when I wanted to smoke a joint while riding. 1 time I decided to hyperventilate then hold my breath for the rush.
I blacked out; when I came to, the overpass that was 100 yds. ahead of me was 100 yds. behind!
I don't smoke anymore, though; and, my riding & driving sensibilities have mellowed considerably -- especially after some other near-death experiences, and after being off the road for a few yrs. (2 DUIs). Better to be smart (& safe) than sorry, huh?
